For this reason, please request prescription refills only during office hours. When you receive your prescription medications, open the packages immediately and make sure your prescription was filled correctly. If you have questions, please call us. The increasing availability of generic drugs has resulted in different appearances for similar medications. Therefore, to avoid confusion, please check your medications when they are received.
Regular follow-up visits provide an opportunity for changes in the treatment or medication program when necessary. Regular follow-up appointments are required for prescription refills.
Controlled substances are never prescribed over the telephone.
